# Referral Program

## Create a referral code

Users can create a referral code on the Referrals page to become a referrer, which needs to be confirmed on-chain. Referral codes are unique and exclusive. Once you've created your code, click the copy icon next to the code to get your referral link.&#x20;

\
Users can share the link on any platform, e.g. Twitter, or Telegram. When a user clicks on your link, your referral code will be stored in the user's browser cache. **Once** **the referred user completes his first on-chain operation on Hotbit, the referral relationship is established and cannot be changed.** The referral relationship is only established through the invitation link and cannot be manually entered or changed with a referral code.

## Rewards

Unlike most referral programs that only reward the referrer of traders, LPBASE also rewards the referrer of liquidity providers. The referral reward is calculated **daily** and issued as **5LP token.** You can choose to claim or compound at any time.

### **Referrer of Liquidity Providers**

The rewards for referrer of liquidity providers are calculated separately for each pool. The reward for each pool is 5% of all fees generated by the pool one day and is calculated based on the staked LP amount and weight at the end of the day.

For each pool,

**Your rewards = 5% Fee from the pool \* Total staking points by liquidity providers referred by you / Total staking points**

e.g.:

Assume that there are a total of only 3 Liquidity Providers in a certain pool, and the fee generated by this pool on the day is $1,000.

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="191"></th><th></th><th width="90"></th><th width="126"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><br></td><td><strong>Staked LP Amount</strong></td><td><strong>Weight</strong></td><td><strong>Referred by</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Liquidity Provider 1</td><td>10,000</td><td>1</td><td>User A</td></tr><tr><td>Liquidity Provider 2</td><td>10,000</td><td>6</td><td>User A</td></tr><tr><td>Liquidity Provider 3</td><td>10,000</td><td>10</td><td>User B</td></tr></tbody></table>

Total staking points=10,000\*1+10,000\*6+10,000\*10=170,000

Rewards for User A=5%\*1,000\*(10,000\*1+10,000\*6)/170,000=$20.59

Rewards for User B=5%\*1,000\*(10000\*10)/170,000=$29.41

### **Referrer of Traders**

15% of fees generated will be given to the referrer of the traders, which is calculated based on the points at the end of the day.

For referrers of traders, they earn 1 trading point for every $1,000 in trade volume completed by their referred traders. The insufficient trade volume is accumulated and calculated for the next day.

**Your rewards = 15% of fees generated \* Your Trading Points / Total Trading points**

e.g.:

Assume that on a certain integrator, only 5 users have made transactions. Their referrers and other specific information are as follows:

| Trader | Trading Volume | Referred by |
| ------ | -------------- | ----------- |
| 1 | 10,000 | A |
| 2 | 20,000 | A |
| 3 | 20,000 | B |
| 4 | 50,000 | B |
| 5 | 50,000 | C |

Assume that the total fees on the day is $1,000.
